Hi, I’m Vee Cee

With over 25 years of experience across museums, galleries, and the international art market, I've worked as Deputy Director at Sotheby's and held professional roles at the National Palace Museum, Taipei and the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

I founded As a Deer Art to bring together museum-quality art education with a warm and welcoming studio experience—where artistic skills, creativity, and confidence can flourish at every stage of life.

My Approach

I believe learning art begins with learning to see. By combining artistic technique with art history, I encourage students to observe with curiosity, create with confidence, and discover their own artistic voice.

Now based in Sydney — offering nourishment, healing, and quiet strength, like water drawn from a clear, flowing stream.
